Pontifical Council for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People – Pope Paul VI established the Council with the task of studying and providing pastoral care to “people on the move” such as: migrants, exiles, refugees, displaced people, fishermen and seafarers, air travelers, road transport workers, nomads, circus people, fairground workers, pilgrims and tourists, as well as those categories of people who, for various reasons, are involved in human mobility, such as students abroad, and operators and technicians engaged in large projects or scientific research at the international level who are obliged to move from one country to another”.

Jesuit Refugee Service The mission of Jesuit Refugee Service/USA is to accompany, serve and advocate for the rights of refugees and other forcibly displaced persons. 

Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace (CCODP) – Development and Peace (The Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace) is the official international development organization of the Catholic Church in Canada and the Canadian member of Caritas Internationalis. Development and Peace is a membership led organization supported by parish collections, individual donations and government grants, principally from the Canadian International Development Agency.

Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP) – RSTP is a program designed to support the Sponsorship Agreement Holders (SAHs) of Canada, their Constituent Groups, Groups of Five and Community Sponsors on a national level.

Canada’s Office of Religious Freedom – Canada will continue to work with like-minded partners to speak out against egregious violations of freedom of religion

Sponsorship Agreement Holder – (SAH) – Organizations that have signed sponsorship agreements with the Government of Canada to help support refugees from abroad when they resettle in Canada. They can sponsor refugees themselves or work with others in the community to sponsor refugees.
